When I set out on my muscle-up journey, three things made all the difference: the right gym, a high-quality weight vest, and a reliable dip belt.

These tools were critical in building the strength, endurance, and explosiveness required for success.

Unlike many weight vests that feel bulky or restrictive, this one is comfortable and practical for pull-ups.

Unfortunately, this particular belt is discontinued, but in my experience, the brand doesn’t matter much when it comes to dip belts.

Most dip belts function the same way, providing the support you need to add weight to exercises like pull-ups, dips, and chin-ups.

Why a dip belt is essential:

  • Weighted Pull-Ups: They’re a cornerstone of building strength for muscle-ups.
  • Versatility: Use it for weighted dips, chin-ups, or even squats to target multiple muscle groups.
  • Durability: Most dip belts are built to last, making them a reliable addition to your training toolkit.
